Petra Boddington

There’s nothing you can tell me about the struggles of losing weight, of changing shape and becoming fitter. You see I was a size 22, and 5 stone over weight before I started my own personal weight loss story.

I like to call myself a more mature personal trainer and I have lived a little. In fact, I have lived a lot and still do. I enjoy weekend breaks away, nights out, and the odd takeaway. I enjoy a glass or two (or three!) of wine and I love chocolate.

I sometimes find it hard to motivate myself to get in the studio’s and work out.

So I know how you feel! And it’s that knowing and understanding that will help motivate and drive you towards your goals.

There is nothing more satisfying that getting into clothes that were too tight. Looking in the mirror and thinking all the hard work was worth it. Hearing your loved ones tell you how amazing you look.

So if you want to work with someone that has been there, seen it, done it and got the t-shirt, I am the trainer for you.

Becky Hancox

NO body-conscious teenage girl ever wants to be told she is ‘cuddly’. But that is exactly what a boyfriend called me when I was just 17.

So the boyfriend got dumped and I started running and, well, I’ve literally never stopped. Think Forrest Gump with slightly less facial hair!

That was 23 years ago and I am still on my own, ever-evolving fitness journey (I do a lot more cross training now!)

Originally, I worked as a journalist, running the news desk for several years before going to work in PR. But the stresses of such a high pressured job led me to sack it all in and pursue my fitness ‘hobby’ as my career.

So I re-educated myself at the same time as starting my own precious family. I have been in the fitness industry for more than 10 years now, helping people achieve their goals – either delivering 1-1 or sessions or training people in a class/small group environment.

I know how good exercise makes you feel both physically and mentally. I believe in having as much fun in life as possible and fitness can and should be an enjoyable experience.

In fact I have maintained strong friendships with many of the clients I started working with 10 years ago.

When I saw the opportunity to work alongside Petra at Perpetual Wellbeing I grabbed it with both hands; helping people achieve their goals in such a unique and unrivalled environment.

So if you want a lot of fun and results on your own fitness journey, drop me a line.
