    Jenny’s Blog Week 9

I had a clothes fitting session this week.  About 2 years ago, I had a clear out of my wardrobe and put away any clothes that were too small for me.  I was devastated at the time because I had some stunning dresses and tops in there.

This week, I have got them all down out of the loft, they were a mixture of size 18 and size 20 – and I was ecstatic that most of them fitted, the feeling was amazing. Those that didn’t fit were so close, that they went in my wardrobe anyway, as I knew I was probably only a week away from them fitting!!!

Bank holiday weekend, we travelled to Liverpool to spend it with my family.  On the Friday night we had a BBQ, and the food cooked with me in mind… it makes things so much easier when I have the support of my family, they have all been brilliant.

On Saturday we went to a fete, there were a lot of fast food stands selling burgers and hot dogs.  I found one selling chicken with salad on a flat bread with chips, so I asked for it with no flatbread and no chips.  To begin with the server looked at me like I was mad, but then loaded up on the salad and chicken – my brother had the same but with the flat bread and chips, after we’d finished, he said he’d rather have had it the same way as me!!  When I hear things like this, it just makes me feel even more proud of the choices I make.

Despite all the good food choices this week, I did have a small gain, which I put down to alcohol, as I had drank all weekend.  That was my choice, and I was accountable, so I have no problem with the result.
